Planning Your Visit (The Essentials)

1. What are your hours and season? Our main season runs from the Friday of the May Long Weekend until the end of September. Our special Haunted Farm Adventure runs during the month of October. During the summer season (summer school break), our regular hours are Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. During the school season our open days reduce to 4 day weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun & Mon) for general admission. Large groups are able to book 7 days a week.

2. What is the admission price and what's included?  Admission is $10 per person for ages 3 and up (tax included). Children aged 2 and under are free. Your admission includes entry to the petting zoo, food for feeding the animals, the Great Hedge Maze, archery, Skee-Golf, and all other activities. A free multi-color airbrush tattoo is also included with every admission.

3. Do I need to buy tickets in advance?  No, you do not need to buy tickets ahead of time. All admission is paid at the gate when you arrive.

4. What activities are available at the farm? Your admission gives you access to all our family-friendly activities, including:

  • A hands-on petting zoo with goats, a pony, bunnies, ducks, and more.
  • The Great Hedge Maze Adventure.
  • Archery target practice (recommended for ages 8+).
  • Skee-Golf and a horseshoe throwing game.
  • Bouncy horses for younger children.
  • A free airbrush tattoo for everyone.

5. Can we bring our own food and drinks? Yes, you are welcome to bring your own picnic basket with food and drinks. You can also purchase snacks, drinks, and ice cream at the market to bring into the farm adventure. Please note that alcoholic beverages are not permitted during public hours.   

6. Are there picnic tables available? Yes, we have several picnic tables and chairs available for our patrons. On busy weekends, tables may be full, but you are always welcome to bring a picnic blanket and find a spot on the lawn.

 

On the Farm (Rules & Amenities)

7. Can we feed the animals? Yes! We provide food for the animals free of charge. Please do not bring any outside food for them. To keep our animals healthy and happy, please only feed them small quantities and obey the feeding signs.   

8. Can I bring my pet? No, outside pets are not allowed in the Farm Adventure for the safety and health of both your pet and our animals. It is best to leave them at home. Please see our Service Dog Policy if applicable.  SERVICE-DOG POLICY & ENTRY FORM DOWNLOAD 

9. Is the farm wheelchair and stroller accessible? Yes, most areas of our farm are accessible. The Great Hedge Maze is designed to be accessible for strollers, walkers, and wheelchairs, and we have hard-packed paths and ramps in most areas. We are always working to improve accessibility.

10. Where are the washrooms? We have a portable wheelchair-accessible washroom located inside the Farm Adventure. A full washroom is also located just inside eating area at the entrance of the market.   

11. Where should I park? Free parking is available. We ask that visitors for the Farm Adventure please park on the right side of the lot, away from the market, to leave closer spots for produce shoppers.

 

Bookings, Passes & Special Policies

12. How do I book a birthday party or group event? Reservations are for our Gazebo event tables, which can seat up to 30 people. There is no extra charge for the tables, but a $20 deposit is required to hold your spot, which will be applied to your gate admission. You can check availability and reserve a time slot on our website.  

13. How do Season Passes work? A Season Pass is for one individual and provides unlimited entry during our regular season (May long weekend to the end of September). It is a great value if you plan to visit 4 or more times. The pass does not cover our special Haunted Farm event in October.   

14. Do you accept the ACCESS 2 Card? Yes. When a person with a disability who holds an ACCESS 2 Card pays for their admission, their support person will be granted free access. The physical card must be presented.   

15. Are there age requirements for children? Children under 10 must be accompanied by a responsible person aged 10 or older. We find that the experience is most enjoyable for everyone when parents or grandparents join in on the fun.   

16. Do you accept surrendered animals? No, we are not a rescue shelter and cannot accept surrendered animals. The SPCA is better equipped to handle animal rescues.   

17. What are your COVID-19 rules? We follow all current Provincial Health Officer (PHO) restrictions. Currently, masks and proof of vaccination are not required. We simply ask that you do not enter the farm if you are feeling sick or unwell.
